EEKS three whole days without my chicks!!!!

Going out of town for three day weekend, chicks are in the brooder with enough food and water to last them. I am going through chick withdrawals now. They are about 4 week old and doing fine. Have not lost a single one since picking them up from the feed store three weeks ago. They are growing like weeds though

I am almost done with the coop, just need to build nest boxes and door to run and I am done!!!! Pics coming soon

So how many people leave their chicks alone for a few days?? Also the end of June we are gone for 9 days!!!! I have know one to watch them

I went away for 6 weeks last year. I had some different people watching my birds and taking turns collecting the eggs. The year before I was gone for 10 weeks and the same thing except we had a tornado go through our property while we were gone and a tree fell and knocked down some fence. The chickens never left the yard even though there was opportunity to. I left plenty of feed for them and large shallow bowls and an under the bed storage box out in the yard to catch rain. I live in Florida and in the summer it rains most every afternoon where I live.
