If you want to use Safeguard, go ahead. It's a very good wormer but you have to worm birds 5 days in a row to get rid of all types of poultry roundworms. It has a recommended 14 day withdrawal period as well. Again, we've eaten the eggs after using Safeguard (fenbendazole.)
You only dose twice with Valbazen and using less of the wormer.
