I keep hearing about people buying hatching eggs on auctions what are some sites to do this and also best sites to find birds for sale thanks

Right here on BYC in buy sell trade section. On ebay there are all sorts of eggs for sale. But before you buy from either take into consideration that traveling is hard on eggs, so if you can pick up eggs near you is best. Also investigate the seller and their ratings.

eBay is great to find hatching eggs. I buy from http://www.frankstrade.com because Hilltop Farms is only a short drive away from me, and there are some really nice birds on there as well.
