I have 6 5 month old hens and a bantam hen. My bantam has been laying for a few weeks, every other day. Nobody else is yet. Then I introduced a 8 week old leghorn that thinks its the bantam best friend and it hides behind her in the coop. Now the bantam is just sitting for days in the coop with the 8 week old behind it. All the others are out playing. No eggs under bantam... So how do I know if its a problem or not.
