egg bound

our chicken (2 year old buff orpington) i believe is egg bound, she has been suffering for days now and we can't seem to help her in anyway. we have tried epsom salt soak, vaseline in vent area, yogurt, tums in her food.
any other suggestions, going to a vet just isn't an option.
her abdomen is so swollen-she hasn't made a sound since at all. we have her in the house in her own space.

any advice?

Have you stuck your finger up the vent to feel for an egg? Only if you can feel an egg is she likely to be egg bound. More people will reply soon.

If she is egg bound you will be able to feel the egg just inside her vent by gently inseting a gloved and oil finger into her vent.
If you cannot feel an egg (you can insert your finger an inch into her vent) then there it's possible she has other problems.

She’s barely pooping and yes it’s her abdomen that’s swollen.

The best option is to take her to a vet. The eggs need to come out.

The most extreme solution is to break the egg and flush the bits out. This has risks and is probably best left to a vet but it can be done at home.
