Egg bouund

How can you tell if a hen is egg bound? I have a hen that is displaying odd behavior. She keeps running up and down the ramps into the nesting boxes, frantically, and scratching in the nest the repeats running up and down the ramps into again. Multiple hens use the nesting boxes so I can’t tell if she laid the egg and is looking for it (after I have collected it) or if she’s having trouble laying one. She does this every day like a ritual.
