I have a broody bantam who was sitting on 5 BCM eggs, when I went to check on her today, i noticed some shell in her nest and on closer inspection I found that one of her eggs had broken and another hen had laid an egg in its place. I know I really should move her away from the rest of the hens, and will do this when I have created the space. But for now, my immediate concern is the remaining 4 eggs, they are all covered in old yolk and white from the egg that broke. I understand its important to keep the nest clean so should I clean these eggs and change the nest bedding?
