egg change?

This is my New Hampshire. Her name is Nugget. She laid plain brown eggs until a few days ago when I got a brown speckled egg yesterday and then another today.


Why did her eggs change? Is it a bad thing?

those look like they are from two different birds, even the shape is different, eggs will lighten but don't usually darken, get spots, change shape and size all at once. Too many differences.

Im not positive that the first one in the picture was hers because all of the eggs were mixed together but the second one as hers. I was in the coop filling up the food when she laid it. Her eggs usually are darker like the second one just not speckled until this week.

I've seen the speckling come and go on eggs, that I wouldn't worry about, it's normal.
