Awhile back someone was selling ameruacana fertile eggs. In their picture was a bunch of eggs with a little chart laying on top. It was sort of like a paint chip that had various colors from chocolate brown to tan to blue. Each color had a number value. I googled like crazy and can't find anything like it. Has anyone seen these before? Do you know how I could get one?

Thanks kelsie! Do you know if they have any for "standard" colors, or is it only the special colored eggs that they grade?

Good question, those are the two kinds I know of, never looked any farther, the Marans and the blue egg layer breeds have egg color/shades in their standard, which is why I figured they have charts of what is acceptable / wanted. Don't remember ever seeing one with the lighter browns or white/tinted on it, will have to look.

I just thought it would be cool to "grade" my girls' eggs. Plus, I'm starting a breeding program in the spring to see if I can get a truly pink egg layer.
