Egg Colors

So...I bought some eggs (not on this site), they are supposed to be Buff Orphingtons. I got six eggs, and 3 look pretty much like they are Buffs, as they are the beigh, tannish color. The other 3 look like they are Copper Maran eggs? They are more of a chocolate cover like the ones I've seen on BYC's. My question is; do buff orphingtons lay eggs that are this dark brown?

My Buff Orps laid eggs that were pretty light brown. I believe if you have some that are quite dark they are not Buff Orps.

I've never seen a BO lay a dark egg.

I also must add, havn't had a Buff Orpington lay a chocolate egg...all light almost pinkish brown. But seriously, are they that dark? Or just a few shades darker than the rest? Will be interesting to see what comes out at hatch time!
