Egg destroyers

I know birds get bored deatroy eggs. I have 8 hens and one started laying a few days ago. Because of the coloring I don't know is it safe to say this last one is hers ? Or someone else laying now? Or should i be worried about the color if it is hers? Feels like a normal shell

It’s more likely that the shell didn’t fully form around the egg (soft-shelled egg.)

This is really common with new-ish layers.

Have you got separate oyster shell available to them? They often need more calcium than is available in their bagged chicken feed.

If they are just starting to lay - this is perfectly normal. It will go away if you do nothing. New layers have some glitches in their systems that almost alway go away on their own.
