hello so it was day 18 candled at day 16 everything seemed fine. But one exploded today and the other egg was dead as well. I have 7 more eggs at different stages and they where all still alive. And the only thing I can think of that killed these two where the change in temperature. I bought a new thermometer and it said that my temp was at 95 so I turned the heat up to 98/99 my humidity was at 60. I have never had an egg explode before. I cleaned the incubator with bleach and waited for the temp to rise enough to put the rest of my eggs back in. Thank you for your help.

I've had this happen once also - I didn't recognize that the darkness in the egg wasn't normal (have hatched and candled eggs for 8yrs now, so I'm not a newbie!).
What I now look for when I candle - first, red blood veins; second, a bigger growing embryo; third, an air sac. For if an egg is not good - there will not be an air sac or not like the others. Usually, it's because bacteria got into the embryo somehow and the little thing doesn't have a chance. I doubt these died because of your temps.
Instead of bleach to clean out the mess, :sick I typically use water and vinegar - finish the hatch; then bleach and let dry in the sunshine.
Good luck with the rest of your hatch!

The clean up wasn’t bad no smell. And there was blood but it was just sad to see a fully developed chick. A beautiful chick just laying there as if it wanted to hatch.
