I know one egg is fertile but is the other one?

that's how I feel but it looks different, less white around it than the other egg. The oranger one is a chicken egg, the one I can't tell if fertile is a turkey. I have never seen them mate, and am watching for fertitilty because I'm hatching them suckers! I guess I can sacrifice one and put it in the bator and watch it then I will know. We just waste it though if not fertile. Oh the decisions lol

I think they're both good. The yellow turkey egg looks normal for fertility to me. Looks like the orange chicken egg has spread out - maybe when cracking and pouring into the pan? Maybe a normal occurence - either way it looks good to go for fertility...

Ok thanks owen. I will give it a shot. I have NEVER seen signs of hanky panky between the 2. Yesterday I came home and noticed her neck feathers a bit ruffled so maybe that's a sign lol.

Alright, so today I came home from town and "male" turkey not around. My neighbor was kind of an *** about the ONE TIME the birds wanted to go say hello and did threaten to shoot. SO I feared the worst, he's usually there to honk at us when we come home. Well, I found "him" in the coop sitting in the corner on some chicken eggs. I'm so confused. He looks male in appearance compared to the other one whom I did catch laying an egg so she is deffo a she. But he will sit in your lap, follow you around, and when you pet him he squats much like a female chicken would to mate. Off to google to see if male turkeys help sit. SOmehow I think mybe not, anyone know? SO far only one egg almost every day but maybe "he" is a late bloomer. ugh, anyone want to come over for thanksgiving lol.

Sadly, kind of, today we got TWO beautiful turkey eggs. So the feminine acting "male" whom is very affectionate, as compared to the egg laying female who walks around the yard bitching all day, is a girl. Funny how birds can be so different in personality. One bird is female looking but bitchy (imagine that lol), one is more male looking but sweet as can be, following me around, squatting and just all around a good soul. We were so happy we got a boy and a girl but I was never 100% positive they were one of each. Now we know. If both males they would be dinner. But since they both lay eggs they get to stay. I guess. If ones goes it's the bitchy one, I have grown kind of fond of my little "TOMasita"
