Egg Gathering Aprons

I am making this style-half apron with 4 large pockets. These sizes will run from XS to plus sizes. Most of them are made out of 100% cotton unless stated otherwise..I have several made by my grandma who made hers and mine.
The length of the apron is from 16 (XS) to 18 inches(plus size) long.
Each pocket are approx.9 inches deep and 10 inches wide to hold your eggs. I can put a peacock egg in each pocket! I will have more designs so just keep eye on this page as I go.

You should perhaps try a piece of elastic on the top edge of the pocket to keep it closed more perhaps?

Hmm, I think my SO needs one of those.

He is the one that has to gather the eggs since I leave for work
before it gets light out. Of course we have about 3 months to go
before any of ours are old enough to lay.

When you put the apron on..the pockets are almost closed..I just open the pocket up to show how the eggs look inside..maybe I will get someone to wear one and take pic...
