Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
If my Easter Egger hen laid a green egg, and it hatched out and was a pullet, would that pullet lay a green egg or could it lay any color? I'm trying to find a Easter Egger that lays a blue egg and I don't want to have to raise a bunch of pullets just to see which one is going to lay a blue egg! Lol!
