Egg hunt!

I have a 10 month old Pekin duck, she has recently stopped laying eggs in her house and begun laying them all over the yard, it's an egg hunt every morning! Is this normal?

Not usually once they start laying inside. She has it opposite from normal.

Have you checked out her house does she have alot of bedding to lay her eggs in privacy from the other birds? Every once in a while I'll find an egg laid outside from one of my 8 month olds.

She's the only duck I have and she has lots of hay in her house cause she made a nest in there, I recently moved her house closer to my house and fenced off a large area just for her to forage around, I don't know if it's because of her being moved it's thrown her off or what.

It could be the move, ducks really have a hard time with changes so maybe just let her settle into her new area and see how it goes. Have you thought of getting her a few friends a couple more females?
