Well I cracked open the egg that my wyandotte layed this morning. That looked such a weird shape and had a very thick shell. the yoke was bigger then the nice large eggs she would lay. so I guess it's ok inside. But do need to know I do feed her crushed egg shells daily and she loves cheese shredded is it ok to give to the hens daily?

I don't want to plug her up lol

Congrats on the unique egg! Your hen is perfectly fine. Sometimes they just lay unusual eggs. Way to go on the eggshells! Hens need that to make strong eggshells as well as function properaly. Without calcium, they can become egg bound and have weak bones.

Cheese is ok but remember that treats should only take up 10% of their daily diet.
