Today I gathered eggs and had 1 in a milky sack type thing. The egg was normal looking, just in this sack. I cleaned off the stick sack, and the egg looks ok. Never saw this before.
Anything I should worry about?
Thank you in advance

It's what is usually called a soft shelled egg. Sometimes it seems to be just a "burp" in the egg laying process, a mistake, reason unknown. If you're unsure about whether they are getting enough calcium, you can give oyster shell if you don't already. You can put a Tums in their water once or twice (not every day) for a boost.

Or, you can just wait and see whether it happens again.

Thank You. Heading to Tractor Supply now for more feed, I'll get more oyster shells too. The egg looks normal after cleaning, but curious whats inside.
