Hi! We’ve had a crazy spring with sickness and my girls have drastically reduced their egg production. We went from approximately 15/16 (17 hens laying age) a day to maybe 4-6. Is there anything we can do to promote laying again? We do have two roosters, as well, so I want to be sure it’s nothing that could hurt them. Thanks!!

We had some pullets start showing signs of coccidiosis, so the whole flock had to be treated. While that treatment was happening, some of my older (right at a year old) flock started showing signs of respiratory infection. We’ve finally got everyone feeling better, but it was literally over a month of sickness. They eat Nutrena All Flock and get a few kitchen scraps here and there (usually left over veg/fruit). They also get supervised free range time as often as possible. The roosters don’t harass the girls.
