egg laying during integration?

I introduced a maran hen to my wyandotte for company after our former flock got decimated by a oppossum in the night. I got the maran from a guy on CL who said shes already 11 months, so she is laying already. my question is during integration, she most likely wont lay until shes fully integrated? how long would that take?

I'm sorry to hear about your other birds.

It all depends on the individual. Some will begin laying right away, others may take weeks.
