egg laying problem????

OK, I have taken everyone's advice, the chix love the sunflower seeds. I was reading chicken behaviors yest. and I am really thinking she's "broody" I totally took away her box. She walks and eats and everything. But when she's in the box she'll stay there for hrs. Here I thought she was on her death nest but...I guess I need to change my broody questions over to the other forum. THX!

What does "broody" mean?

It means the hen want's to hatch eggs, or make her own "brood"
