Egg laying

Is there any way to get the chickens to lay in nesting box. I have had two eggs now and they been on the floor of the coop in the same area. I know it's probably early but any ideas?

New layers take a little bit to get used to laying. Try putting some fake eggs or golf balls in the nests. This tells them it is a safe place to lay, and that “others” have laid eggs there. Make sure nest boxes are a bit “private” - they seem to like that for laying eggs.

Your nests look good(coop page)......put a fake egg in most the nests.
have you seen them investigating the nests at all?
If not, might put one or three up on the perch in front of nests......or into a nest.

They go in them all the time. Guess I'm just impatient
