egg painting/psanky?

Does anyone here do this craft? I'm not sure about the spelling I think it's psanky.It involves blocking off parts of the egg with wax and dying it in layers.I've seen pictures and they can be very impressive.I don't do it myself but may try researching it.I get a lot of extra eggs and was looking for something to do with them

I did it a million years ago and enjoyed it immensely, being a incurable doodler. I forgot everything I learned though, it's been so long!

Polymer Clay is another media you can use to decorate eggs. I've been selling mine at fairs & shows for years...

I seen a show on PBS a while back where a Russian lady was doing this. Said she and her family had done it forever. I thought it was really interesting, but havent got around to doing it. Like Ang said, its one of those things on my "learn how-to do" list. Theres only a ton of things on that list.

Me and my mother were big on pysanky a while ago. My mom got awesome at it. It is a long process, but really helps cure the cold, boring winter nights.
