Hi! I believe one of my Chickens have egg peritonitis. She got attack with no wounds from a coyote and one day she had yellow stuff (yolk I think) coming out. She got very sick so I treated her the best I could gave her Oregano water and it worked wonders. well know she waddles and doesn't lay anymore. She eats and drinks very well and comes out but then she just lays either she gets tired really fast or is uncomfortable or in pain. I don't know what one. I don't care that she doesn't lay but I don't want living her life in pain. Does anyone know if it could be possible that she can just live her days like this? or Should I put her down. or is there something I can do to help her? its been over 3 months so she's not going anywhere.

She probably had an egg break inside her. Did she get any antibiotics?
She likely got an infection from it and it missed up you reproductive tract.
If she spends time fluffed up with eyes shut, she's in pain.

I gave her Oregano and she started to get a lot better. She is molting so that's painful alone.
