Last fall my husband bought me guineas again after much begging for many years, yay! I've got a nice trio that I love. I've had guineas before but I can't seem to quite remember what the eggs look like. They free range and go in the barn with all my chickens. I've been getting plenty of chicken eggs lately so it's got me thinking the guineas should be laying soon too. I'm not sure if they'll lay inside, my last ones didn't but then again they also refused to roost inside too whereas these guys go in the barn with pleasure. I've got a bunch of banty cross pullets laying and their eggs are on the small side, I'm assuming guineas aren't very large either? So to wrap this up I need a visual refresher course on guinea eggs :) thanks!

No photos but Guinea eggs are teardrop shaped (pointier than chicken eggs) and very rough textured (like a stuccoed wall) compared to chicken eggs.
