Egg popped

I'm new to egg incubating. I'm on day 9 and one of the eggs sort of exploded. What would cause this to happen?

Hi. An egg exploding or popping is caused when it is rotten and incubated. While it rots gasses build up inside it and once the pressure gets too high inside the egg.....boom. If the rotten egg got onto the other eggs they might be in danger.
I've never experienced this so I don't have any experience I've just read about it.
