Egg problem !

Hey Friends !
My girl hasn't layed in a while and we can feel 2 eggs inside her. She is pooping and eating fine. Is this normal?! Her sister is recovering from surgery and has been separated for over a week. We're not sure if stress can cause laying problems and build ups like this ?! Has anyone experienced this before.?

I'd get her to a vet if you feel 2 eggs she needs a shot [I forget what it's called] to get those eggs out. Also some calcium will help too. You can put her in a nice warm tub of water let her float to relax then mix her up some peas with some kind of calcium in it calcium gluconate or calcium citrate or crushed tums mixed into crushed peas. Does she seem in distress at all? This can be very serious if she doesn't lay them soon.

No distress really. She had one egg I felt maybe a few days ago...and there seems to be another one I can feel right behind the last one. She has been quacking a little more than normal but we also think that's because she misses her sister because it stops when they are together.

Upon feeling her again she has one for sure. Honestly it's so low I'm surprised it isn't out yet and hope it will come tonight. The other assumed to be egg feels a little softer but maybe could be another one cooking?

PS I'm bad at this.

I never feel up my Hens or pay attention to egg laying daily...If she is acting normal?....Do not worry...

She is normal. Her only change is she is acting more vocal than normal. I think its just because she is separated from her sister. When they are put together she doesn't seem to be like that.
