Hi everyone long time lurker first time poster ...Anyway for about a month now my egg production has stopped except for the one and only white leghorn (my sons chicken) all together we have 9 barred rock hens 2 isa brown hens and 1 cochin 1 white leghorn
they are coughing slightly and have a loose rust colored stool they range in age 6 to 7 months old

Have you added any new chickens recently?

This sounds like it could be many things. CRD, possible fungal infection, ILT, etc.

Do they sound congested? Are they less active? Have you done ANYTHING differently lately?

I'm really sorry that this has to be your first post, but welcome anyway.

yes got some new show quality barred rocks from a friend around 3 weeks ago but the egg production had tapered off to only the 2 isa browns and the leghorn at that time other than that no other changes they are all acting normal no drainage of any kind and eating drinking and breathing just fine

It's possible that those barred rocks may have a contagious condition. Coughing is not good. It usually signifies a contagion. A fungal infection is not contagious, so it sounds like a respiratory infection. There are many types of URIs, and some are much more serious than others.
