More information: Exactly how old are they (if less than a year old, age measured in WEEKS is needed)? If they are not yet a year old, they are technically pullets (until they ARE a year old). New layers take a while to get the conveyor belt running at peak performance. It's actually rare that a hen will lay EVERY day. A lot depends on their breed. Do you know what breeds you have?
They need to have oyster shells!!! They need oyster to be able to have a shell and to have strengthen the shell! They are about 22 weeks, I have found about 5 soft shell eggs cracked in their coop, I'm not 100% sure what they are. I will post a picture of them.
