I have a mixed breed flock of five hens and a white rock rooster. Would like to hatch some good egg layers to add to the flock. How can I determine which of my hens are the best layers so their eggs can be hatched.

Just look at the eggs that you been collected in the last few weeks and you should able to determine which hen is the regular layer.

Yes i can tell the eggs apart. The question is how does one determine which hens are laying which egg.
