I have two Old English Game pullets that started laying February 4/15. They laid consistently for 6 wks and then looked like one, and then the other, was going broody (sitting in the nest box at night, pecking me when I tried to move her). The broodiness past but their egg production stopped for @one week. I'm now getting one egg between them every few days.
Since they've only been laying for 2 months and then didn't go full-on broody why aren't they laying? Why'd they both do the same thing at the same time?
