Egg question

Broody mom duck is on a nest. There are a few eggs that look odd, thin? She has been sitting 1-3 weeks? Long story... do they look like they are about to hatch or bust cuz they r bad? (First pic was from last week with 11. Today’s pic has 13).

The ones with red arrows look like they might be bad, but do like @Sally Sunshine suggested and candle them before you toss them.

Oops, added, they are duck Thanks! Wasn’t sure if it was something that could be figured out by looking at them. This was unexpected and we didn’t want ducklings but here are the eggs! Lol I will have to see if the flashlight I have a strong enough to candle...

Duck eggs are pretty easy to candle. Does your cell phone have a flashlight app?

Yes but OCD and germaphobe I have a little LED flashlight I tried before but wasn’t sure what it should look like. Should do the trick.

This is the best I could do juggling things! Lol
These 2 are examples of the normal looking ones, they have veins.

The 3 funny looking ones are mottled. Not seeing veins... assuming they are bad...
