I am getting ready to set my incubator up again to hatch some Silkie eggs. I have 2 beautiful eggs from my Chinese girl. I was undecided on whether to stick them in the fridge or incubate them. I washed them with my chicken eggs. My questions are Will it hurt their chances of hatching after being washed and how long does it take to hatch a goose egg? I know chickens are 21 days.

generally washing them is a big nono.

for me if there is poop on it, i would wash it and fridge it,

wait for a nice clean one. germs on your hands and on the poop and chemicals from the sink will all damage the

potential chick

and goose eggs take i think 28-35 days ish :/

Sebastopol eggs take 30 days. You can if there is poo and not too much you can take warm not too warm of water just take the egg under it real quickly. Set it on a paper towel let it set for about a minute and then gently rub off the waste and I mean gently!!
