I'm new to egg incubation. I have an incubator where I can't lay the eggs on their side. They have to stand upright and turned on an angle.

On my first incubation, I got no chickens at all. I discovered I put the eggs in the incubator te wrong way around. I put them fat side down, pointy end up...when I should have done the opposite.
This time round I've put it pointy end down, fat side up. Do you think I will have any luck this time around in getting some baby chicks?

Hi, and welcome! Yes, you should have much better results incubating with the air cell up. The air cell is in the fat end under normal circumstances.

What kind of incubator do you have? There are many members here with all sorts of incubators and I am sure you can find someone with knowledge to give you hints on how to have the best success with your incubator.
