Egg safety

We were away for 6 days and had someone collect our eggs for us and leave them in an egg carton on the patio table. The outside temp was around 80. Should I toss them?

80 is fine. If they were in the 90s, I'd probably opt to feed them to the chickens and dogs.

80F in the sun? I'd throw them out. How much are they actually worth? And if you don't want to eat them, having a pet sick eating them isn't better!
You can try breaking some in a dish and see how they look and smell, and if you do eat them, definitely cook them first!
"When in doubt, throw it out" are words to live by when food is concerned.

Were they in direct sun? My house is kept at 80 degrees all the time and I eat my week old eggs off of the counter.
