Egg seller updates?

Do you guys update when you get eggs from people? Do people care? I'm sure some do and some don't, but what is the general majority?

I keep people's name/screen name next to the eggs so I can be sure what I got who from, and try to update them on the first candle then the hatch...

Just wondering if anyone else does!

I do... esp with shipped eggs. Even ebay eggs. Sometimes the sellers don't care/don't respond. Other times I get someone who is interested in their shipped hatch rate or color percentages of the hatch.
I am also OCD meticulate about keeping my own hatching records... so I guess I share so that I don't feel like I kept track of every finite detail of the hatch for nothing!
I've even gotten an offer for an egg deal for future hatches from the conversation that ensued from a little hatch-update I sent once.

I keep track and send updates when the eggs hatch to the seller usually. I ask those who buy eggs from me (button eggs so far) to let me know how they make out so I 1. know how they are doing and what they hatched, 2. need to know if I may need to do something different in the future. *grin* plus I just like keeping track

I usually try to keep track of the eggs I have shipped and PM to see how they were received and how their hatch went. I like to hear how many chickies I have all over the U.S.!

I do, and hope everybody I ship eggs to will send me updates as well. I always want to know what happened with them, and if they hatched or not.

I love to have feedback, both on the feedback section and pm and phone calls! You see, I pray over those hens and roosters each day. I pray as I collect and wrap the eggs and as the USPS travels....and as they rest in your home and then move to be hatched....

LOL, maybe I should rename myself the poultryprayer. I do believe that prayer makes a difference in everything so Granny taught me how to pray and I'm not changing.

But yes, please feed back, but also look at practices. I triple hygrometer and thermometer each incubator. You'd be surprised how many thermoters or hygromters can fail or start failing. I try not to candle but once...I'm a firm believer that I might not scrub my hands fast enough when I'm in process of candling.

Also, feedback should be given her on shipped eggs and customer service, not on hatch rate, as that will vary so widely with your incubator, your room temp, candling, etc. etc.

I always update the sellers on my eggs that they ship to me and I like to have updates here too. I always like to know how the eggs that I've shipped are doing.
