I currently have eggs in my incubator but they are not as hard shelled as they used to be. The top of the egg feels kinda soggy. My humidity is usually around 49-53 but i put some paper towels to raise it up a bit. It still is at 50. The temperature is usually 99.6. Do I lower down the humidity?

What do you mean by soggy? Just wet with moisture or the shell feel soft like a soft shelled egg?
All of them like that or just a couple?

Do I lower down the humidity?
do you candle your eggs to monitor air cell growth? I believe last time I have started dry and only increased humidity after getting enough air cell developed for giving day of incubation (search for the picture)

It feels like moisture but its only a few eggs
So they just feel wet? The shells themselves are hard?
Re-check your humidity. I've never put paper towels in a bator, does your not have reservoirs to hold water?
Is your incubator forced air or?
