One or two of my hens have started laying tiny eggs! What May be the cause?

That's very common if they are new to laying. The very first egg I got was 17 grams.

I have the same problem! My hens are 3+ years old and a couple of them have recently laid pullet size eggs.

Same here found 2 in 2 weeks don’t know if it’s the same hen or different. I do know it’s my 4 yr old americanas ad they are green

I read a couple of threads about it, because I can see a lot of variation even in a weeks time. They seemed to say it can relate to age, cycles in laying, and diet, specifically the amount of protein.

I have 16% perhaps I should increase to 20 but I didn’t even see 20 in the feed store. The other thing is I only give them feed in the coop. I had a rat problem last year. They have a very large run and are probably out there and not going in for feed.
