Egg Size

I have noticed each time one of my hens lays her first egg is seems extra large. After that they apear to me to be smaller. Is this a nomal behavior for them to have produce a extra lage egg the first time ???

It's different for all of them.

Most of mine start out small, "pullet" size and then get larger.

Every hen and each variety/breed is different.
