Egg sizes

Breeds I have are golden buff, wyandotte,cochin, leghorn, buff brahma, sultun and silkie
Have brown egg layers and the smallest eggs are medium and today I got a very small brown egg. These hens have been laying since last august. They have layed well all winter, any idea what happened?
