Egg sizes

Ok so today I got 5 fertile eggs and the lady have me an extra one but it's so small what does that mean

Some breeds lay small eggs naturally, whereas other breeds start with small eggs and they get bigger as they lay more. Don't count that egg out, the rooster starts mating with the girls before they start laying.
