Egg stealer!

I live in the CA high desert. What is stealing my eggs? I bought ceramic eggs because I thought the chickens were laying someplace beside the nests and now they are missing!

I have had rats try to steal ceramic eggs, snakes will also eat them. Don't know of anything else as I am in Southeast Louisiana. CA high desert, might have other type rodents, etc. that are causing the problem. Good luck figuring it out and hope to stop it.

Put up cameras, sometimes you’d catch the odd bum sneaking in with a bin bag

Snakes are what steal from my nests, of course what they dine on is golf balls which a snake cannot pass,,, I take the eggs just before the girls go to roost.
Folks jumping the fence to take my eggs and veggies best fear me!
