egg stopped tapping/ cheeping

i noticed at lunchtime today that my chick had moved into the airsack and was tapping the egg - its now 11 at night and it still hasnt pipped though the shell or even made a crack , im getting a little worried about it now

I just hatched 20 chicks 2 weeks ago, some of mine stopped cheeping for serveral hours but I would go back later and there was a chick

Don't give up on it; I had the same thing happen this summer. I broke the shell on two and they both wound up dying because I was too eager and wanted to speed up the process. I wouldn't break the shell just yet, give it a little longer before you give it a little help.

well at 9 am this morning i say a few cracks in the shell and now we have one very little beak peeking through
