After they're a day old, I've hardly even noticed it.

Edited to add: the egg tooth is what the peeps use to break their shells.

The egg tooth is at the end of the top beak on day old chicks. Small point used to crack the shell.

Is that what the white spot on the end of their beaks is?

Yep. If it's just a white spot and not like a little point, the tooth has already fallen off and it's just the outline of where it was.

Ahh, mine are two and a half days old and a few of them still have it.
