Egg thing or not...

Ok there is so much on here but i am still. Unclear is a whiny chicken a sign of egg or just a batch of girls looking for some loving from a male???They are 17 week isa browns....so around the time of POL going by past threads they have been making a whinny sound for the last two days ... If is egg related how long do they whine before they lay?? It is cute though... Feeling very loved here

I think the whiny sound has got to do with laying. Have they recently been suddenly interested in nesting boxes? If so the should start laying within a week or two maximum. If not they may start laying in a month time.
