Egg to egg contact

Is egg to egg contact while incubating OK? I have more than my turning racks can handle, am considering standing them up inbetween eggs set in their depressions which means they'll lean against other eggs but in theory they should be forced by the eggs they lean against to move back and forth with motion of rack. At least till I can remove some bad ones, then I'll move any of the out of place good ones into a rack depression.

not sure what kind of turning racks you have, but with a sportsman turning tray i have set whole trays without egg tray...so in place of setting 180 eggs ,i have set near double that without tray. egg to egg, i use foam to fill in open area on ends. trick you don't want eggs rolling and hitting each other. i do get a few broke not many, but setting 180 or 360 ,big differents
