egg turning and incubation

I am hatching in an incubator in my classroom. I have been doing this for 16 years and always removed the automatic egg turner on day 18. This year day 18 falls on a saturday and the school building is not open. Am I better oof removing it late on day 17 or not until day 20?

I would say far better to stop them late on the 17th. It shouldn't make much difference at this stage to be early but doing it late may not give the chick sufficient time to orientate themselves for hatch and may lead to late hatch or no hatch at all.
