Egg went off the scale!!!

Egg went off the scale and measured 2.75" in length! OWIE, but I am so proud of our Tina, she did a great job.
The other large one is from my GLW, but that is her regular size. Tina is a Marans/Game mix and not very big! Way to go Tina!!!

Nice eggs!! I have about 8 hens that are laying eggs that size everyday. Love finding those monsters and no, they usually only have one yolk. I did get a few double yolkers when they first started laying.

I'm getting 5 GLW and hope they lay eggs that size!! Are they good layers?

My GLW is a great layer, probably 5 to 6 a week and all are either large or extra large. My SLW is a terrible layer, maybe 2 to 3 a week. Go figure!
