egg with no shell

I found an egg today with no shell just a flimsy covering..
why would that happen
any help ??

Sometimes it just happens. Is it the first eggs it has laid? Add some oyster shell to the feed to make sure they have plenty of calcium.

YEah what byoung said, if you cant find oyster shell in your feed store you can just give them some egg shells and theyll eat it, itll help them with the calcium part.
