egg with purple spots

I know this sounds weird but I have a chicken I believe my BR hen that is laying eggs lately that are a very pale almost pink color that have light purple spots on them. My husband says he thinks its calcium deposits on the shell. Any ideas and she is not from a breeder she is from TSC. I will try to post a picture of it when i find my camera lol.

I have a hen (or two) who do the same thing. They tend to do it when I change their feed, but for the life of me, I can't remember what brand I was using when they started with the spots... makes for an interesting conversation piece to see lavendar speckles though, huh? I think they are just trying to dye them for me, lol.

Thanks i haven't changed food at all but have given some diff treats maybe that is what did it oh well they are pretty maybe its because hey know purple is my fav color
